where to stay

Rome
The central area of Rome is not huge and you can easily walk around the various areas yet your hotel location can also make a big difference to your overall experience in this city. The area around the Colosseum is full with archaeological sites and there is also a metro station closeby. The Centro Storico is a medieval area with winding streets with Rome’s most beautiful fountains, squares, restaurants and bars. Look out for Piazza Navona and Campo dei’ Fiori. For those on a shopping mission, the area next to the Spanish Steps is full of expensive and trendy boutiques, cafe’s and restaurants. Piazza del Popolo and the Fontana di Trevi are located close-by. Although the area near Termini Station has a large number of hotels this areas does not have much charm and we recommend you stay there only if you need easy access out-of-city transport reasons.
