Most tourist sights are easy walking distance away from Hotel Moderno, including Palermo’s famous 11th-century cathedral. Public transport is also on your doorstep. Bus stops are just 10 metres away and a 5 minute walk will take you to the main train station and the Metro.

From the port:
- Take Via Crispi.
- Turn into Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
- Turn right at the traffic lights and you will have reached the hotel.
From the airport:
- Take the motorway towards Palermo.
- Continue towards the Viale region of Siciliana for about 5 km.
- Then, turn right into Corso Calatafimi and continue to Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
- At the traffic lights, turn right into Via Roma, the hotel is located about 50 metres from the junction.
From the airport: take the bus which stops at the central station then follow the directions below.
From the central station:
Take the main road, Via Roma, for 500 metres, or take bus 101, which stops in front of the hotel.
From the port:
Continue along the road in front of the port, Via Emerigo Amari, turn left at the 1st set of traffic lights into Via Roma, the hotel is located just 300 metres along.
